Canton Network ➡️ EVM Ecosystems

EA Finance enables users to move liquidity from the Canton Network into the mainstream EVM ecosystems (BNB Smart Chain to begin with) through a secure lock-and-mint process. CC is locked on Canton; wCC is minted on BSC — creating a frictionless, trust-minimized pathway into EVM DeFi.

A. Select network on The Portal

1. Open The Portal interface.

2. Select the network route

3. Enter the amount of $CC you want to transfer to BSC, and you'll see the expected receivable amount of $wCC after fee.

4. Confirm to proceed to the next step.

B. Enter Your BSC Receiving Address

1. Enter the BSC address where you want to receive your wCC.

   • You may manually paste your BSC address

   • Or connect your wallet directly (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.)

2. Double-check your address carefully.

3. Confirm to proceed to the next step.

Entering the wrong address will result in an irreversible loss of funds.

C. Get Your Assigned Canton Deposit Address

1. Once your receiving address is confirmed, The Portal will automatically generate:

   • A unique Canton Network wallet address under a unique Party ID

   • A unique Memo (required for routing your deposit)

   These three identifiers belong only to your session and are required for correct deposit attribution.

D. Deposit Your $CC on Canton Network

1. Send $CC from your native Canton wallet to the designated deposit address + memo provided.

2. Minimum deposit per transaction: 100 $CC

   • Deposits below this threshold will not be processed.

3. Complete the deposit within 5 minutes.

   • The system assigns a timed session.

   • If the deposit is not received within the window, the session expires and a new one must be created.

E. Minting & Receiving Your wCC

1. Once your CC deposit is detected and verified:

   • EA Finance will lock your CC inside The Safe (Canton-side vault).

   • The system will mint an equivalent amount of wCC (1:1) on BSC.

   • Your newly minted wCC will be automatically sent to the BSC address you provided in Step 1.

   This process usually completes within seconds after confirmation of the CC deposit.
