Burn your Wrapped Canton Coin (wCC) on an EVM chain and receive native CC back on the Canton Network through The Portal.

A. Select Network & Enter Burn Amount

1. Open The Portal interface.

2. Choose the EVM network where your $wCC is currently stored (BSC, ETH, Base, etc.).

3. Enter the amount of $wCC you want to burn.

4. The interface will display the expected amount of $CC you will receive after fees.

5. Review the numbers, then click Confirm.

B. Input Your Receiving Canton Address

1. Enter the Canton Network wallet address that will receive your released $CC.

2. Optionally, you may enter a Memo:

   • This is typically required for centralized exchanges.

   • You may directly input a CEX deposit address (e.g., Bybit, Kraken, MEXC) along with its memo to receive $CC directly into your exchange balance.

3. Double-check the address carefully. Incorrect addresses will result in permanent loss of funds.

Entering the wrong address will result in an irreversible loss of funds.

C. Sign the Burn Transaction

1. After confirming your receiving address, The Portal will prompt your browser wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) to sign a burn transaction.

2. Approve the transaction in your wallet.

3. The system will execute the burn on-chain.

D. Receive Your Released $CC on Canton Network

Once the burn transaction is confirmed:

• The Portal notifies The Safe via inter-chain messaging.

• The Safe will release the corresponding amount of $CC to the Canton address you entered.

• $CC will appear in your specified native Canton wallet or CEX deposit balance.
